Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft have revolutionized the transportation industry in recent years—particularly in large metro areas like Atlanta. Many people use Uber or Lyft to get home after a night of drinking, and others simply use the service to get around town without having to use taxis or public transportation.
Whatever their reasons for using a rideshare service, people run the risk of serious injuries in rideshare accidents. Whether an Uber or Lyft driver caused a car accident that injured you, or you sustained injuries in a wreck another driver caused with a rideshare vehicle, talk with us.
Uber and Lyft do provide a good service. We use them too. Some tips for you as you get in a stranger's car:
Confirm the license plate that you see on the app.
Ask the driver to confirm his or her name.
These next few are a little more specific - when your order a car, look to the star ratings of the driver, the number of rides completed, and the length of time driving.
OUR RULES: We cancel a driver if the stars are under 4.7, the length of driving is less than a year, and ther are less than 500 rides.
<<the driver image on the left shows a high rating, more than one year driving and "400+" which to us meets our criteria.
